Do I need previous pageant experience?
No. Many of our most successful contestants had never competed in a pageant before. We provide guidance, support and development throughout the journey. The MGA experience is not just about the competition, it is development program welcoming women of all experience levels.
 
What happens after I submit my application?
Once you submit your application (above), you will be directed to make an application payment of $20. This payment goes towards the administration processing costs, majority of our team are volunteers so this enables us to cover our costs. After payment, our team will carefully review your details. If you are successful in progressing to the next stage, you will be contacted with information about interviews, next steps and how the journey unfolds from here. Every application is treated with care and consideration. We are looking for women with heart, ambition, potential and a desire to grow.

Is there an age limit?
We welcome all women 18 to 35 years old. 
 
What costs are involved?
If you progress to the National Final Crowning Gala, full information about any fees, inclusions and expectations will be provided transparently before you commit.
 
What if I’m nervous or not sure I’m “ready”?
That’s completely normal. The Road to Miss Grand Australia is about growth. You do not need to be perfect, you just need to be willing to begin. We are a platform dedicated to empowering women, MGA is so much more than a crown, it is the experience.
